End of Summer

Fall is here and we can sure see and feel it. Always something very special as the leaves start to turn and the cold temperatures , starting to feel that nesting thing come on. This weekend in Pocahontas County is the Road Kill Cook-Off and on Sunday the Shavers Fork Fire & Rescue Golf Tournament. Don't miss the fall colors.

I know, I know to few and far between! Fall is on the way as the leaves begin to turn and the air cools. What a great time to be in the mountains. Lots of leaf peeping, animal viewing and great things to do. Cass Senic Railroad Murder Mystery Train though September 25 along with Fiddles and Vittles. National Radio Astronomy Obeservatory "Star Lab" in Green Bank-Friday's in September. Pocahontas Opera HOuse, SKip Gorman 9/18, Gandydancer 9/26 don't miss this unique experience and on SEPTEMBER 26 the 18th Annual WV RoadKill Cook-off in Marlinton this is a ton of fun for all the family members.
